Kohilo, Kohilo, blowing with the breeze and free as a will. Her fur so fine and clear.
Oh hill, oh hill, running strong and proud, her rear is white and her face and back a fine dusting of ash.
Grey as a dove and clear as a song, spread your wings and soar on the salty breeze of the ocean’s spray as the the blue green tide brings you home, home from the sea to me.

Kohilo ran across the sandy ocean beach, the salty breeze in her muzzle and a gleam in here eyes. It was a beautiful morning, the sun had just risen and she had been here to watch the ocean turn to pure gold for a moment. Her pale gray eyes had been relaxed as the sky had lit up and the waves had danced with the colors of the morning. It was a good sunrise, after the sea had flashed golden it had faded into a more varied parade of colors. Pinks, oranges, golds, and purples all danced across the waves and reflected off of the sea spray.
Kohilo had found a flower by her head this morning, and the trace of a scent that she did not recognize. There had been a trail of flowers leading down to the beach. She hadn’t seen any for a while now but there were some rather small paw prints making their way across the sand. A toki had not at all been what she had been expecting or had hoped for but it was still to be seen what would come of it.
Kohilo padded down the beach slowly, the damp sand sticking to her paws. There was another flower up ahead. It was red and lightly dappled with salt water. Kohilo sniffed the flower and continued on down the beach, a few yards later there was another flower, this one yellow with a white throat. Next to this one was a baked treat which Kohilo scooped up and crunched thoughtfully. This was beginning to look up some, flowers and backed goodies certainly didn’t hurt the fellows prospects whoever he was.

Gallarado was watching Kohilo hopefully from a little ways away. The little tundra toki had gotten up hours before dawn to set everything up for this including a raid on the pantry for the baked treats, of which there were several more placed at places he was sure they wouldn’t get wet and mushy. There were also some wet treats that he’d needed help getting but he really was trying to go all out for Kohilo. Gallarado nodded and scampered off to wrap up the very last of his preparations.
Kohilo had spotted the toki watching her but she had decided to humor the little fellow. It would be a shame to let all of this effort go to waste.
The speckled toko continued to follow the trail of flowers and baked goodies on a surprisingly pleasant walk which in due time ended with a very large bundle of flowers and a little picnic spot.
