“Stuffed! Stuffed! What does he mean Stuffed!” Squeaked Chester angrily.  The little grass fusion rattata was so mad that he almost seemed to be inflating.  He chittered dire threats and ran back and forth in front of the other pokemon.  “The Turkey Farfetch’d are supposed to be guests! Not part of the feast!” he chittered venomously.  Flicker put her tail in front of the enraged rattata, “Maybe he’s just misguided.” She hazarded.  Chester’s ears when down and he eyed the tail as if wondering whether to jump over it or to bite it.  Their trainer came up.  “I know guys, I know.” She said crouching down and stroking their fur.  Chester’s green fur was raised bristling all up and down the small pokemon’s spine. His ears started to come back up and his fur started to settle under her gentle hands but he was fighting it, trying to stay mad. He did not want to forgive the Lucario.  The Turkey Farfetch’d were his friends, he cared about them and they would become part of the feast over his dead body.
Tasha smiled at Chester and Flicker.  On her shoulder Strider crooned soothingly.  “Focus on the good, not the bad Chester.  Just look at poor Flicker, she’s worried for you.”
Chester did as told, looking at the fox like cross.  Flicker looked back at him with a worried face.  Flicker had always tried to look out for him.  His antics bothered her to no end but she still looked out for him.  He sighed, perhaps they were right and he should forgive the Lucario.  Maybe. . . . . . .
“Come on you two, we need to go and have a talk with that Lucario.” Tasha said, getting up and heading out of the building.  Flicker and Chester followed along behind her for a bit until Chester decided he would prefer to ride as opposed to walking and climbed her garments up to her shoulder, he chittered a greeting to Strider who was almost always found on the trainers left shoulder and clambered onto her right.  At Tasha’s feet Flicker looked up with big hopeful eyes and wagged her tail.
“Oh fine, let me get out the sling, your not a pup anymore though Flicker so don’t expect this often.” The trainer said as she paused to dig a sling out of her backpack.  Once the sling was on and its special brooch fastened she crouched down to pick up the fox pokemon and tucked Flicker carefully into the sling.  The sling held the fox pokemon up and against Tasha’s chest, Flickers furry head cheerfully looked around taking in the sights from her new seat of comfort.
“You guys are all lucky I don’t make you walk, or well fly I suppose in your case Strider. “  Tasha said in mock threat.  Strider just shut his eyes and groomed her hair a little with his beak.  On the other side Chester patted her ear with a velvet soft paw.  Flicker just sighed happily.  They all knew that the threat was in jest, having given in their trainer would let them ride at least for a time.  Tamora ran from around the building and came prancing to lean against Tasha’s leg.  Flicker yipped a greeting to the pale little Growlith.
“Good girl Tamora! Good girl! Take us to the Lucario please.” The growlith nodded happily and began to walk back the way she had come, tail wagging.
  Earlier that day
“Eat my friends!” Chester growled and leapt at the Lucario, the small rodents teeth flashed as he arched through t he air.  The little fangs snipped though leather and cloth and bit into the skin below.  The lucario spun and slapped at the rattata but Chester had his teeth sunk in deep and refused to let go.
Flicker darted at the Lucarios ankles, trying to distract him.  She did not necessarily approve of Chesters attack but she did not want the Lucario to brain the little rascal either.
Given an opening Chester let go and dove in the Lucarios shirt running back and forth as the Lucario tried every thing it could to get the rodent out of his clothes but Chester ignored the blows and flailing limbs.  Above them a fiery winged shape squawked and whistled.  Strider had found them, which meant that Tamora and Tasha would be on their way.
Sure enough moments later the Growlith rushed around the corner and seeing Flicker attacking the Lucario’s heels and batting at his clothing it was not hard to guess where Chester was.  The rattata had made no bones about his feelings for the hunter and had been madder than Tamora had ever seen him the last time she’d seen him. Making a quick decision she opened her mouth and shot out a stream of flame past the Lucario.  She did not want to aim to close because she suspected that Chester was in his clothing.  As such lighting the lucario up like a Christmas tree while appealing was not a good option.
The stomp of boots came around the corner.  “TAMORA! FLICKER! Stop that right now!”  Called Tasha.  She did not blame her pokemon for wanting to fry the Lucario but there were better ways to deal with him.
Tamora and Flicker stopped attacking and hung their heads, Strider stooped down and landed on Tasha’s shoulder.  “Sorry guys, but this isn’t the way and she asked me to find you.”
Back to the present
Tamora trotted happily ahead of them and lead them to the lucario.  From Tasha’s shoulders Strider hissed at the hunter and Chester growled. A very strange sound coming from a Rattata.
“I am sorry for my pokemon attacking you, but injuring the Farfetch’d is not acceptable behavior and will not be tolerated.” Tasha explained to the lucario.  Part of her agreed with her pokemon and wanted to run him out of town and part of her did not want to get her hands dirty and that I what won out.  She shook her head as she walked away and thought, I’ll let the mayor decide what to do with him.
