I am making myself a pair of shoes! 
By hand! This is the start of my right shoe. I'm super excited, a friend of mine is teaching me. Well he's a little scatter brained so mostly my dad is teaching me. LOL But he's helping with the tricky stuff like fitting the leather so they will fit me.
And! One of my feet is smaller than the other, by a fair bit even. Apparently this is fairly normal, who knew?
This is most of the way through my first set of thread.
